This oil painting depicts the view from Campfield Marsh Reserve across the Solway to Criffel, on a beautiful Spring morning just as today .....hardly a ripple on the Estuary, no wind, all blues and browns, as yet very little green - grass is still bleached out from the past winter but in two more weeks all will change.
