Fishing amongst the pools and rushes, near the wood, well out on the wetland. There are good mixed flocks of Teal, Wigeon, Mallard and Shoveler out here too.

Having arrived on 10th, it had been regularly seen somewhere on the Reserve each day since. Today it could be seen preening on the back edge of the Saltmarsh Pool.

6 12 11 A pair had landed on an area of floodwater on the LHS of the Lonning. Had been spotted earlier last night and this morning from the hide. A bit unusual for a sea duck!.
