Two Spoonbills circled several times over the Meadow Pool, North Plain Farm, Campfield Marsh RSPB Reserve at 11.50 am. The seemed interested in landing but the pool was already full of Whooper Swans and Wigeon. so the flew off to find another pool elsewhere...

Taken at 9 am on a warm summer's morning. The pair had spent the night here and were active, preening themselves and eventually feeding up and down Saltmarsh Pool. A couple of Mallard seem to be attracted to them and kept their company for quite a while.
