Everyone that visits tells us what an amazing reserve we have!  One of the more peaceful and picturesque of our sites.

You will still find the peace, tranquility and wildlife on June  9th - but up near our top fields there'll be a hive of activity and plenty of things for the family to get involved in (from 10 am to 4 pm).

Why??? -  Well, we are inviting everybody to join us to celebrate 50 yrs of a wonderful woodland

Perhaps willow weaving with local sculptor, Anthony Hammond, might give the kids a buzz?  Maybe you want expert help on buying optics with our top team from Carsington?  You might head off on a guided walk or discover magic with our professional story-teller.  Oh - and yes - to keep you refreshed there'll be tea and coffee, ice creams and a BBQ 12-2.

Come along and tell all your friends........... and if you live locally book the bus and get taken from your doorstep to Coombes Valley.  Working with Staffordshire County Council we've organised for the Moorlands Connect bus to be included in the area of travel (that's every other day too).  For more information visit http://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/transport/publictransport/connect/MoorlandsConnect.aspx

Cheers
