Hi friends :-)

As you may remember, yesterday's sightings were quite scant ..

As you will soon discover, today's sightings are even 'scanter' !! .. 

Is 'scanter' a word ? .. It is now .. ;-)

All from Old Moor today ..

There were 4 little-ringed plovers seen on the Wader Scrape along with 2 ringed plovers and 5 avocets with 3 chicks ..

A teal was reported from the Wader Scrape and an oystercatcher was on the Mere ..

The bittern was busy today and the times of the sightings were reported from the 'Bitttern watch' ..

She was seen at .. 10:00, 12:42, 12:45, 13:49, 13:56, 14:05, 14:40, 14:58 and 15:18 ..  

The report used to be .. She was seen once in January and a couple of times in March ..

Times have sure changed !!
