Hello readers :-)
Hopefully today finds you all fit and well ?
Slightly more slimmer proportioned sightings today for you but still a good number of different waders are present ..
All from Old Moor today ..
The Wader Scrape had 8 pochards, a Mediterranean gull, 4 common terns, 7 ringed plovers, 4 little-ringed plovers, 2 common sandpipers, 2 green sandpipers, 2 redshanks, 5 black-tailed godwits, a golden plover and 3 oyster catchers ..
Well worth a visit to Old Moor just to see that lot !!
There were 3 wrens reported from the Visitor Centre ... not in it obviously :-) .. A female sparrowhawk was also seen here ..
A male and a female kingfisher were seen over on Wath Ings along with a sedge warbler and a willow warbler was seen on Green Lane ..
Butterflies reported were brimstone, ringlet and small skipper ..
I bought a book on butterflies and moths the other day !!
A new list for me to start now .....
Oh dear ...
Have a great evening friends ..
