Despite the gloomy forecast, today has been sunny all day!!! We had to re-aclimatise ourselves to a bright glowy thing in the sky and were shocked to see butterflies and damselflies again - we'd almost forgotten what they looked like!
So, we're staying open until 8 pm this evening as we're not anticipating a further rise of water on site. Having said that, because of the forecast, we're still not able to pump water back into the river. So the very deep puddle on Green Lane remains.... Access to the first two hides is all that's possible along there.
