Hopefully you are all well today ?
I am because I'm on holiday again tomorrow !! ... Waterproofs for me !!
Today's sightings are ... slender ... but perfectly formed ...
Here they are :)
The bittern/bitterns were seen from the viewpoint at 10am, 11:30 and 1:00 .... Great stuff !!
A decent report from the Field Pool told of a yellow wagtail, a whitethroat, linnets, a reed bunting, a common sandpiper, a snipe and 2 little grebes ..
Another yellow wagtail (or possibly the same one from the Field Pool) was reported from the Mere and a common tern was seen over on Bolton Ings ...
At which point I must stop ... Nothing else to tell !!
Unless any of you know different of course ?
