A decent amount to report for you guys today ...
Let the reporting begin !! :-)
Old Moor to begin ..
The Wader Scrape had 6 snipe, a redshank, 2 common sandpipers, 4 green sandpipers, 2 black-tailed godwits, 2 little egrets, 9 common terns and a hobby which caught a swift !!
There was a willow tit and a great spotted woodpecker seen in the Bird Garden and a juvenile green woodpecker was also reported but under the 'no fixed abode' category ;-)
A final report from Old Moor was of a kestrel which was seen on Wath Ings ..
So now over to Broomhill Flash ...
Seen here were 10 green sandpipers, a common sandpiper, a black-tailed godwit, 7 snipe and 3 common terns ...
Over on Wombwell Ings were 2 wood sandpipers, 3 black-tailed godwits, 3 redshanks and 3 dunlins ... Please be aware that these birds are on the first flash as you approach along the path so please be sure to stay behind the floodbank to avoid flushing them .. Ta very muchly :-)

Seen here were 6 grey herons, 67 Canada geese, 5 great-crested grebes with 3 young, 20+ little grebes, 34 tufted ducks, 11 pochards, 144 coots, 9 mistle thrushes, 2 green woodpeckers, a great spotted woodpecker, 13 chiffchaffs, 2 kestrels, 18 lapwings, 2 lesser black-backed gulls and 39 black-headed gulls ...
