Hello everyone :-)
I hope that you have all had a nice day ?
Today's gripping news comes from my mate Ali ..
Well maybe 'gripping' could be stretching it a bit but its all good stuff though as per normal :-)
So ..
Old Moor first of all ..
On the Wader Scrape were 7 greenshanks, 2 redshanks, 2 green sandpipers, 7 snipe, a wood sandpiper, a common sandpiper, common terns, a wigeon, a teal and shovelers ...
Wath Ings had 3 dunlins, c260 lapwings, a ringed plover, 4 common buzzards and a hobby ..
There was a lesser whitethroat see/heard on Green Lane along with a family party of reed warblers ..
A final report was from the Mere where there was a kingfisher, little grebes, a sparrowhawk and 2 knot .. When is a knot not a knot or not ? When its' not known to not be not a knot ...
Yes quite ..
OK .. Over on Wombwell Ings were 8 snipe, 2 green sandpipers, 2 ringed plovers and a greenshank ..
There .. All done for today ;-)
Enjoy your evening everyone !!
