Evenin readers ...

Is it me or is it getting colder ?.... Wintertime approacheth  !!

'Father Whatsaname' will be here soon with my presents ;-)

Speaking of  presents .. here's one you can open now ..

All from Old Moor !!

There was a kestrel in the car park along with a sparrowhawk .. Under close scrutiny from the latter were a willow tit, greenfinches, tree sparrows and reed buntings ...

A green sandpiper was on the Field Pool along with 2 snipe ..

Wath Ings had 2 green sandpipers, a snipe, c1000 golden plovers, lapwings and then a barn owl was seen at the far side ... Very nice !!

More willow tits and bullfinches were seen in the Bird Garden  and a great spotted woodpecker was seen flying over the play area ..

A final report of 'no fixed abode' told of a grey heron, shovelers, teals, mallards, tufted ducks, little grebes, wigeons and gadwalls ..

I'll go for the Mere as a guess :-)

So ... On that note I'm outta here ..

Sightings will probably be absent tomorrow unless someone takes over for tomorrow ..

'Spurnage' for myself and 'Treespers' I reckon ....

Have a great evening everyone ..

Bert xxxx
