Seems usual these days to get a spell of north easterlies at this time of the year. But winds and conditions like this can bring interesting birds to site and at the moment it is a light passage of arctic terns . I have also known some good rarities arrive...

Two cracking Hobby shots by Brenda. The Grasshopper Warblers continues to show well and we now have at least five along the perimeter of the marsh. Grasshopper Warbler (Les Harrison) How do they make that amazing noise?!

What a wonderful day at Kinnordy yesterday. Even after the otter has been about there are still reasonable numbers of black headed gulls in front of Gullery hide, and they continue to let us know when any prospective predators are about. This certainly...
