Had an absolutely fabulous day out at RSPB Dungeness yesterday. In 25 years of visiting Dunge (as us birders affectionately call the area) I have never seen in the snow. An even more alien but very beautiful landscape and the birding was somewhat rewarding...

With all the snow and harsh conditions that are around, I've heard lots of comments on how many birds are visiting our gardens in search of food at the moment, so keep putting the feed out and it should be a great weekend for the Big Garden Birdwatch...
