No sooner had I written last week's blog than the dotterel was seen again at the ARC site! It was not seen on the reserve over the weekend but reappeared, near Boulderwall Farm, yesterday. A drake goosander was on Burrowes pit on Sunday and a drake smew was seen from Scott hide yesterday, whilst a female common scoter was on Denge Marsh.
