Good Morning
Here are a few more photographs from Saturday of the Short Eared Owl at the fleet. These photo's have been tidied up a bit due to the adverse weather conditions.

Hello James,
Very nice.
Cheers
John.
Saw a Short-eared Owl for the first time at Elmley last week but only managed a few blurred shots - yours are great. Thanks for sharing.

Hi James,
Fantastic shots in very challenging conditions! Great stuff mate!
There must be something about owls and the Canon 7D as I had my close encounter with a Barn Owl shortly after getting mine. Now you've had a similar experience with an SEO! LOL!
It's shots like this that make all the expense of the equipment seem worth it though.
I haven't been out to Elmley or the Fleet for ages now. It's obviously more of a journey now for me but I really must make the effort one weekend and get down there bright and early as you did.
Anyway, hope you're liking all your new equipment and having fun with it.
Cheers,
Gaz.
Good stuff there , James. SEOs continue to ellude me even though I see daily reports of several of them at one of my frequent birding locations.
