It started dull, damp, grey cloud and just not that good for photography. But what a morning, Early start at the fleet, Barn owl flying around, and plenty of Marsh Harriers about. A nice pair of Mute Swans flying over head. There were also a few Reed Buntings, and also plenty of Mallards and Coots. I then went onto Elmley, a pair of Marsh Harriers, at the start of the main road, and the Lapwings were giving a great flying display as well. There was a few Oyster Catchers hanging around in the floods, no sign of any Hares around. I walked to Wellmarsh hide there was plenty of Avocett's about, I stopped there for a while and then started walking back towards the offices and it started raining on the way back. So here are a few photo's from this morning.....
