Last Thursday the "Class of 2013" were released onto a secret location on the Somerset Levels. It's the fourth such release in successive years, with one more year to go next year. It's hoped that the Cranes will once again become a common feature of the local landscape just as they were some 400 years ago. There's great optimism that there could be successful breeding on the Levels next year. Here are a few phots of the release of this years birds, kindly sent in by John Crispin. Thanks John!
