Here are some of the birding highlights from the month of July. Please note that this covers the area between Earith & Welney Road, which includes reserves managed by RSPB and CBNWT. All counts are peak counts.

· Purple heron- 1 on 30/7 & 31/7.
· Pectoral sandpiper- 1 on 14/7 & 27/7.
· Ruff- 6 on 27/7.
· Black tailed godwit- 90 on 27/7.
· Greenshank- 22 on 8/7.
· Green sandpiper- 5 on 29/7.
· Wood sandpiper- 1 on 8/7 & 27/7.
· Turnstone- 1 on 29/7.
· Black tern- 1 on 12/7.
· Turtle dove- 2 on 27/7.
· Swift- 1400 on 19/7.
· Yellow wagtail- 40 on 27/7.
