  • Photo: The first comma butterfly of 2010 at Langford

    This was the first sighting of comma in 2010, spotted by Alison Saunders along the woodland edge and captured in a photo by Dave Watt. A good record for the 4th of April. Note the wonderfully scalloped edge along the wing edge - a great master of camouflage that disappears from view into leafy backgrounds...
