Today autumn feels like it has really returned.

3 bearded tits were spotted on the grit trays and two Cetti's warblers were heard singing along the Causeway between the grit trays and the Public hide.  We also had five Arctic terns and four or five otters (they were apparently quite hard to distinguish as they were rolling around!) at the Public hide.

At the saltmarsh there were three spotted redshanks, a curlew sandpiper, 75 knots, a dunlin and the kingfisher.  A marsh harrier and peregrine falcon were also seen down here.
