I've added the new data - but only got one new point for Rothes - as of 5pm yesterday (17th) she was in the same place. I guess if the weather changes over the weekend she might start to move on - so it will be interesting to see on Monday.
Meanwhile Mallachie is also still sitting tight in Portugal, moving between the two reservoirs. The latest data I have for her is 3pm today (18th) and at that point she was at the reservoir north of Zebreira.
I'll not be able to check the data over the weekend - but hopefully you can all hang on until Monday afternoon. I'd do it earlier in the day but I've another residential volunteer starting on Monday and we like to make the most of them for some hard work while they're around!
Have a good weekend.
Thanks very much Alice. It looks like the girls are happy to stay around the same areas a bit longer. I hope that you have a good weekend.
Alice, your updates have been very welcome all week. Good to know that all is well. Hope you have a goof weekend
Many Thanks, Alice :) Enjoy your weekend.
I am very happy that Mallachie is happy to stay in one place and (hopefully) practice her fishing.
Hey, Alan, new avatar - it's fab. F.A.B. (off to the movies shortly)
And thank you Alice your a great 'trooper' and I appreciate all your efforts on our behalf.
Thanks, Alice ... great to have your updates, and glad all is well with the girls. Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks Alice, have a good weekend, hope the sun shines.
Thanks as always Alice. We are very greateful and thanks for letting us know not to expect an update over the weekend.
Looks like both girls have found spots they are enjoying.
Thank you for all the updates Alice. It's good to know they are both doing well and, hopefully, enjoying themselves. Pru
As always thanks Alice for the update. May be just may be they will have moved on when the next update comes. Looks as though weather in France is not too good so hopefully Rothes will move away. Have a good weekend.
Thank you Alice. Yes, weather in western France is a bit volatile at present, thunder forecast. Rothes may well decide to cut and run. Here in Highlands we have had a great couple of days, hope it continues for your wekend, Alice. As for us, well, guess what. We are headed for the thunder zone in France. Big brother over there says its pretty humid at present.
Thanks Alice - now go find some work for that new volunteer! :-)
Okies Alice we will be patient until Monday :) thanks for the update !
Have a great trip HeatherB, are you heading where Rothes is!
Some sightings close to Rothes......close, not within her known haunts. On the Faune Aquitaine site, all places that I go on holiday sometimes! Le Porge, Carcans, 2*Hourtin.....from the 17th to today 19th. If Rothes has visited these areas we shall not know until Monday evening or earlier on Monday, if the data is available. So a possibility of some excitement to come.
I see Mallachie is going further north and has found a nice big lake :-)
