Its still blowing gale up at LG.
There were two deliveries today. Morning one by EJ and teatime one by Odin. Middle and Titch are still around for feeding so it looks more probable that Eldest has started his migration.
Ir was a very windy day at LG yesterday and is still blowing away.
Over to you on the early morning shift and keep those marvellous witty and amusing commentaries coming. We do appreciate them.
I will say cheerio for now and see you all in the morning.
Morning all: "Marvellous, witty and amusing commentaries?" Lynette you're too kind. Commentary from this neck of the woods these days consists of "Empty Nest/Empty Nest/Empty Nest/Chick arrives/Chick leaves/Chick returns/Chick leaves/Hallo Heron/AQ/Margaret Jean/Goodnight all." :-)
LOL Annette and Lynette:)
Well, there is an empty nest I can see and it's blowing a gale! That's the limit of my observations I'm afraid.
On that spectacularly unhelpful note, I'm off to bed. Happy Saturday everyone and catch up later in the day.
Hi Gary - know you're in bed by now but good to see you. Hope all is well in Connecticut with wife, horses, and neighbor's dogs!
Nest is (still) empty!
Good afternoon/evening Annette. Guess what, I have an empty nest too!!!
Afternoon/evening AQ; Must be the same empty nest as I've got! :-)
What a mess that nest is. Off topic (well, nothing is happening). Princess Mary of Denmark is visiting Adelaide this w/e to attend her bridesmaid's 40th birthday party. Dau#2 just phoned & I was teasing her about her party tonight. Dau suggested I could either sit in one room watching the election results or in another having cups of tea with P/Mary.
We were watching coverage of the Oz elections. Do you have a favorite?
Yes, "none of the above". LOL I don't like the way they now spend their time slinging mud at the others. I want to see some positive, and truthful, statements.
THe report I saw talked about how the female (sorry, forgot her name) had essentially "trashed" her predecessor/former colleague (or something like that).
I'm off to bed. Tired and if I stick around another minute one of the chicks will arrive and then I'll have to stay up!! Take care all; have a nice Saturday.
Good night Annette
Very windy. Sun's up and bathe-ing empty nest in that beautiful morning glow.
A vocal GEM lands on nest - - - and departs. I hear him calling in distance.
