Alan, I note that these two ospreys have not been reported since this post. Do you think its a case of sod's law that they have moved after the publicity, or have the bird-watchers in E Sussex stopped reporting them on birdguides as seeing them has become "normal"?
AG : I am afraid they have moved on. The last info was on the SOS site on 28th June:
"sadly however, there have been no sightings of Osprey in the last two days so it may well be they've finally moved on."

I was in contact with the Rangers there at the time in the hope of getting more info and particularly a photograph with sufficient detail in order to confirm the ring number. They have my e-mail but so far there has been no more info. Coincidentally the ones seen at Weir Wood have also not been seen recently. Could well be they have all moved on?.
