I muMUst have looked in seconds after CIRRUS posted and saw juv defending the nest, so assumed an intruder Didn't realise at that point that it was defending its brealfast too
By the time I had captured and saved a pic there was an adult on nest with large fish, mantling over it. Eventually. adult and juv started eating but now just juv eating and adult protecting fish...or just not hungry......and now its flown, with the fish
Not long back from Manton Bay and I can report that all 4 are still there and had plenty of fish this morning so much so that there was no food begging whatsoever. Some pics to follow:
