I agree NiteOwl..
You are not the first to raise that issue... I've had PM... saying the same thing, I was a little disapointed that... Hey I will say it here... I was a little dissaponted that a little more imaginaion hadn't gone into how to use such a fantastic windfall...
Somerled hits the nail right on the head.. ! milloin voices for nature... all paying about £5 a month... give that a little thought...
Hi, Jag I too agree with Somerled. I trust his statements are accurate. They do jib with what I remember reading over the years.I hope many other are reading his posts as he gives information that we all need to be aware of, whether or not we agree with his conclusions.
Sounds like your team is doing well for the season! Great! Will you miss important games while you are on your cycle tour. Hope not.
With B&B and Keith and Milly all away for the weekend and not much happening on the nest (that I have seen, anyway) everything is exceptionally quiet here tonight.
It is quiet tonight June & NiteOwl... Perhaps a wee chance for any of our "readers" to get a wee post in
I will miss next saturday.. away game at Stiling Albion.. they are rooted to the bottom of the league so that should be three points.. I will be back for the last game of the season- before any play off games.. so no rel big sacrifice... I will also be lean and mean for the end of season dance..thanks to cycling so far in a week.... lol
Hi NiteOwl, again you "sneaked" in while I was typing & posting. Wish thisforum had automatic refresh, But I will be thankful for what we have and not complain too much.
I have to say that thre RSPB in general do a brilliant job and as said this is down to fantastic dedicated staff, yes BJag they could have given 'our' donations better thought, and I know help with better webcam quality was being mentioned when you were considering this sponsorship. But not to get too down hearted I want to say you are doing a wonderful thing for LG and the Ospreys, I want to wish you all the very best on your journey next week, keep SAFE! will look forward to your reports and will be in touch for the Humber nearer the time.
TTFN Take Care x
Thanks for the back up.. I do think maybe a little imagination could have gone into how £1K plus could have been used...
I won't post it but I maybe Give Richard a list...
Good night my friend. Jag.
Hey June.. I was just looking at my typos in my last post and correcting them...
I remembered about you and your new computer. All seems good now, are you getting along with it well enough?
LOL Regarding your 9:42 post, Jag. It has been a struggle and a mystery and an aggravation, but things are slowly returning closer to "normal". This keyboard is dreadfully out of place for a short person like myself and I don't know if I will ever adjust to that. Hence I still have errors which i try to catch before posting, but usually miss some which I sometimes try to correct with edit.
Funny thing, at first "copy" & "paste" were gone until I finally found them under a strange key which brought up the necessary menu. I was just getting used to that strange set-up when lo-and-behold, there they were back where they should have been to start with. Figure that one out! Other things I am finding one by one.
I won't detail my other woes, I'll just say that My laptop & I are getting closer to being on "speaking" terms. Hopefully some day we might even be friends. :)
BTW, JAG, I think you know that I back you 100% in your cycle efforts. I think you have done an excellent job all the way from A to Z in setting up the giving page, your special thread, etc. Your "list to Richard" is a good idea. Might not help much, but who knows? It's just a pity that someone was not available to discuss the matter early on.
But you have done well and I am sure you will make us all proud on the actual ride. Just wish I could be there at some point to wave you on.
June Fame at last. See this tweet

That is just fantastic... Thank you for letting us know tiger...
The gabfest is a good place to be...
This is the first time I have looked at this thread, thanks to TIGER'S link which included the first post for April. One part of that really made me prick up my ears (?)......mention of a humming bird's nest in California Where is that please? I would be fascinated to see that
BJ I have nothing but admiration for your cycling efforts that begin tomorrow and my heartfelt best wishes go with you all the way. Have a safe and pleasant journey....and may the weather be kind to you.
As you are raising the money it would have been ideal if you could choose what it is used for, but I supppose it doesn't work that way Something done about the awful camera would have been brilliant, when you see the quality of the images on other sites
Enough of a moan GOOD LUCK!
