The lack of enthusiasim I have had from there, in no way reflects the On-Line Community and Osprey lovers, you have and are all wonderful.

black jaguar, I think you could be dealing with a double edged problem here. LG are waiting to see how much you may collect, for them to agree on a project and 'would be' sponsors could be waiting to see where the money is to be spent.

Yes that's understood...  So far this little adventure has generated £460... With gift aid standing at about £80.. Surely a little notice saying how £500 could be spent or if something amazing happened and we doubled that how £1000 would be used.. I think maybe that would encourage more people to get on board..

Brilliant contibutions so far, perhaps if anyone plans a visit to LG over the next week could speak to Richard about it, at least then we may find out what they are thinkng they would like to use the money on. some sort of target would be good. :)

Double edged sword but I say lets raise as much as we can and the monies will be well used and LG will make good use.

I will give LG another call today and see if I can stop banging on about the lack of intrest from there..I know if someone was about to hand me £500 I would be very very happy to chat with them.

I too am a bit mystified about the lack of response from LG.

Having never had a Just Giving page myself I am wondering how it works as regards donations. When you choose a charity, ie. RSPB, I take it you are able to designate which Osprey Centre within the RSPB the money goes to? Or are the donations sent to the RSPB itself?

May be wrong  but I think BJ said it was going to LG but not on what they are going to use if for. Apologize if wrong
