OK. sorry folks, falling asleep here after very busy day so heading off to bed.
Morning all. I think this is Laddie on the nest at 9am. Very wet day there again.

If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Wow, SANDRA, brilliant capture of close up of Laddie.
Oooh, SANDRA, a lovely eye! Well done on that!
Stunning capture. Here's hoping for a successful hatch for the couple!
Great capture Sandra. Thanks for posting it. Note that Laddie has an uneven iris as if there is a little chip in it at roughly 8 o'clock if you imagine a clock face. This could be useful for identifying him in future since he is unringed.
Good thinking EMMA.
Emma Peel Great capture Sandra. Thanks for posting it. Note that Laddie has an uneven iris as if there is a little chip in it at roughly 8 o'clock if you imagine a clock face. This could be useful for identifying him in future since he is unringed.
Well spotted Emma...... I had a couple of thoughts on that eye.....a Pacman with underdeveloped mouth, :o , and a less dramatic 'diamond ring' effect during total eclipse of the sun.
Looking forward to their hatching..that will be a fantastic and significant event...Cheers tBoL :-)
Lady having a check....(or is it laddie?)!!!!!!
and then very wet a bedraggled , you can see rain droplets on the wing. Poor thing...

Hi everyone.
Lady calling at 9:15pm.
Is there no end to this terrible weather we are having here in Britain!! Nothing but cold winds and rain.. Global warming, they must be mad!!! :-(
I am sick of seeing the birds looking soaking wet and miserable all the time!!! :-(
OK, rant over!!! :-)
Sandra, I'm not sure who has had the worst weather this year - EJ or Lady? She is just so tired tonight. probably had a disturbed last night in all the rain. She is desperately trying to shout for supper but tiredness is winning me thinks
Lmac, I thought she was looking a bit worn-out a few mins ago. Poor Lady, she is so old now!!
I know, some times it is hard watching her and part of me hoped that she would not return this year. But she has and appears to be getting on with business but this weather must be such a drain on wildlife and their ability to cope - It is getting me down and I live in a warm house with modcons.
Hopefully the weather will be a little brighter tomorrow and Laddie will bring her some of whatever fish he must currently have. Lady should just go to sleep for the night, particularly while it is dry.
