Looks like there is still only 1 chick?
Yes. SWT blog says day 38 for egg 2 and day 34 for egg 3 so hopefully still plenty of time Lynette as they say well within hatching times :)

Nightcam on now. Lady is snuggled down on the nest. I hope she has a peaceful night, rearing a family at her age must be tiring, especially in the heat.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
She seems a bit fidgety tonight. I don't know if it's because she's hot and moulting or whether there are things going on in the egg department that we can't see! I do hope she gets some rest tonight
She has been preening again, getting rid of those pesky moulting feathers no doubt, and getting the new ones into condition.
Here she is snuggled down on the nest at 11.36 pm, still fluffed out to help her lose heat. I wonder what the temperature is there tonight? It's very warm still here in Carlisle.

It's very hot too here in West Lothian. She's settled down a bit now. Meant to say thanks to everyone for their updates and posts today. We were out for most of it. We thought we saw a little hole in the second egg, just before we went out this morning, so we were hoping that another chick might be well on its way by the time we got home. Sadly not (yet!)
I need some shut eye now too. Good night All.
Geese are making a lot of noise at the moment, probably the Canadas mentioned on the blog today.
Night night Silver, hopefully we shall see a chick tomorrow!
Well, two chicks of course ;-)
