DAILY UPDATE (Loch Garten nest) Tuesday, 1 May 2012

  • EJ went for a short break a few minutes ago, all is quiet on the nest - apart from the buzzz ;-)

  • "I'm sorry, I'll read that again", this time in the correct thread ;-)

EJ turns the eggs, adopting camouflage

  • Right, I think I've had enough. Goodnight scylla (and any lurkers)

  • Goodnight RtB, nice to have had your company :-)

  • Thanks for starting the new thread, Scylla.  Goodnight RtB.

EJ awake at the moment, thinking about giving the eggs another turn.

  • Hi HERON :-)  Cam went down briefly just a moment ago - sound's gone off again as I type, it's on 'n off  'n on at the mo - hope it's not a sign of something serious.  Then I'll be asking for our rotten picture back again ;-D

  • Cam back on now - I'm always too late to see the action... :( But glad to see everyone catches it during the day. :) Are you awake as usual here tonight, scylla???

EJ's digging in the eggcup, aerating...
  • Hi there CC, I popped in to say that EJ moved ;-D and here you are :-)

  • She's not happy with how she arranged the eggs so had to do it again.

  • OH NO --- the cam's irregular again! But EJ looks rather ho-hum about everything, and content, it seems. At least the weather has been okay. And you, scylla, how have you been? I just finished my class I have been taking - finished the last paper yesterday. YIPPEE!

  • I'm just the same, CC, chained to my lappies and birds, neglecting all else :o

  • Just have to experiment for a moment with the posting to see if it will accept HTML tags if I get it in quick enough…
  • Here's EJ shifting the eggs, then I tagged on her re-tasting her fish :-)  I hope this won't be another episode of her having an uncomfortable mouth.

  • I say NEGLECTis a healthy thing when one is besieged by obligation!

    re-tasting her fish

I didn't think osprey had a cud to chew.
