Yes june it has fun and practical uses... I streetwalked on the island of nort uist last summer before I set off on my bike, invaluable as I knew exactly where I should head for to get the ferry to harris.
Meant to say to those thinking of going into the Rothimurchus fish farm for the day time hide session... Cameras are banned!!! The refused me access when they saw my gear. :-(

I thought B&B would be back from her walk by now. JAG, I'll be glad when you get home, get settled down, get your connections together and are in full communication with us. Seems we have many pictures to look forward to, yours & Keith's & of course Fish's. BTW I think I may have walked the part of Plymouth pictrured or nearby anyway.
Did you know Keith was almost caaught in a hurricane just before he left. Actually it was a very minor one and hit northern Florida not the southern part where Keith was. I assume he flew out of Miami and it was north of there. Also I understand that it brought much needed rain to parts of Georgia'
