Need to go now folks, sadly I have work to be doing. :-(
BFN/TTFN.
All for one and one for all.
Nora has not fed the 2 little ones much, they were still asking for food as she settled down on them again
Fish & Keith I'm enjoying your posts regarding the Florida Osprey. Keith, that picture of the 0sprey that your wife allowed you to take isn't a photo, it's a PORTRAIT. Great work!
As to the double posting, laugh all you can as long as you can.. (I for one am always glad to cause any merriment I can.) But enjoy now for who knows when and where the DP Jinx will strike next. and who? Could be you!!
jag I am not sure as did not see them fed.
I cannot believe how big chicks #1 and #2 are compared to Tiny chick #3.
Cannot see too much at this feed but Tiny is not at the back anymore, so here's hoping, the size is significant and did not see Garten and saw Tiny in 2010 but sure there was not as much difference in size. It is a fighter though :)
I cannot be certain, but it seems to me that LG chick #3 did not grow nearly as fast in the first two or three days as did chicks #1 & #2. Even now, while #3 is growing, it seems to be at a slower rate than his siblings.
EJ is a good mum she has gone round to feed the "Tiny" one, now chick #2 I think it is wants more. I take it the first one sleeping is chick #1 :)
E j just fed her little squabble heads. ---Spring watch was quite sad tonight. Poor King fishers, ect.---------- Love the pics Keith has put on Gab fest., and hi to June.
fish, yes Spring Watch was sad tonight and I have never seen a "Kingfisher" and have walked so many rivers with my dog. Very sad tonight.

Both EJ aned Odin are providing a fantastic duo as parents as they have done for the past years. It is their dedication that we still have three chicks here at LG as the weather has just been as bad or even worse than at Dyfi.
I am very concerned at Dyfi and feel that the female seems to be abandoning these chicks or forgetting parenthood - just watched her feed herself despite the begging by the chicks then she dragged the fish away and sat down on them.
Off now Bye all.
Keith, I am concerned also but Nora is young and inexperienced and all i saw was the two chicks begging. Hopefully she will feed later as she still has fish. I did notice last year that Nora is not good at feeding very young chicks. She really is very young and inexperienced and a lot better when chicks get older. She did bring 3 to fledge last yr so I am hopeful and at least they have had some food but never saw it?.
Good night all and going to watch "South Park" an acquired taste but it makes me laugh so much :)
No food at Dyfi and here's hoping the chicks will be ok in the morning. There is fish and hope for good news tomorrow.
I am not going to get attached again, Bynack and Dulas both pull my heart strings.
Hope for good news in the morning, those chicks need feeding soon.
off to bed and I have updated
deleted as I am too honest and sorry if anyone saw it
I am preparing an opening statement for JUNE which will be posted on the new thread very shortly.
The new thread, LG Osprey Gabfest - June, 2012, Is now opened.
