Dear all in the Loch Garten forum. I would like to thank you fro the bottom of my heart for the vids, pics, and links that you post.
A colleague mine (who has since retired) introduced me to the site in early June last year when the 2 offsprings were tiny and since then I have been glued to the site reading updates and progress of Tore and Bynack.
I must confess that Bynack stole my heart, made me smile ( like only an indulgent parent can) when he would rant on with his distictive cheeps!! In my heart I hope he has come to no harm as he was my "1st love" and have promised myself, never again to get too emotionally involved but,, it's difficult.
I hope this post reaches the "site" as I'm not great on I.T.
Once again,, A huge thank you to you all and hope we are rejoicing later this month with our new arrivals.
Angel welcome to the Loch Garten Group. Fortunately we have no fear of IT and if you persist you will soon be able to do all the things that you have seen done.
The first priority is to get the knowledge of how to reply to threads.
What has made you suddenly decide to post today?
It seems that there are now 673 members in the group.

Thank you for the Welcome Tiger. Incidently, the 1st vid I watched was one posted from you where Odin delivered a fish and EJ unceremoniously, shoved him and grabbed the fish.. Made me laugh!
The reason I felt I had to try and make the effort was "Moffer" put a link to a photographer who had captured magnificent snaps of ospreys and felt that I must thank all of the regulars as I have enjoyed the fruits of you labour so much. I had intented my post to be added to the usual update page but as you can see, I didn't manage!!
Angel : A warm welcome to the group and glad you decided to post. We were all reluctant to make that first post at one time but soon you will get used to it and become an expert.
Hi Angel. A very warm welcome to the site. Trust me, you'll absolutely love posting in this group :-)
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.

Welcome aboard Angel.. You'll be down with Ospreyitis in no time.. Lol
All for one and one for all.
Welcome, Angel - you have made the first step by posting, and now its all easy from now on! Everyone on here is sooo friendly and don't worry about not knowing everything about the birds: we are mostly just enthusiasts, not experts - although if you ask a question, there will soon be a flurry of answers for you.
Its hard not to get too emotionally involved in the birds' lives as they all have their own personalities. But we always have to remember that this is Nature and all does not always end happily. We are hugely privileged to live in an age when we can watch them closely without intruding on their lives.
