The clock ticks forward and now there are only about eight sunrises before we can expect an osplet at Loch Garten. The time seems to have flown but I doubt EJ would agree as for her time must have really dragged now and again.
However there was a bit excitement on Monday when a fine looking male osprey came to check out whether she was completely happy with Odin. It seems that she was not in the flirty mood any longer.
It was another two fish day.

It's turned into a nasty wet night:

Evening Scylla: I'm not going to be around tonight - seem to have a caught a bug and plan to lay low for a while. G'night.
Looks like rain has stopped and EJ is feeling mellow, though awake.

Morning, CC :-) Glad it's not raining as badly as earlier. I'm off now.
Just one more pic of lovely EJ:
Am still here, someone phoned. Daycam just came on. EJ's been watching the sky alertly.
Hi scylla - just took my bedtime shower and am leaving with a daycam pic. She's hoping for a morning fish, I imagine. (Good night....zzzzzzzzzzz)
EDIT: Early fish begging has begun. :))
VIDEO: Cuckoo calls with EJ's Fish Begging.
Disappointing to log on to find a rather wet EJ Thank goodness she's had a good few days respite from the rain
Good Morning (anybody?)
G'night CC :-*
I got delayed by interruptions, how dare they!
Earlier when EJ was looking at the sky I wondered if there was a skydance going on - I can't hear much when volume is low, and when turned up the buzz is horrendous. What does anyone think?
Could be ??????
scyllaskydance going on
It does bear mentioning that about this time the juveniles on their first migration back north are arriving..
I can't hear the cuckoo on your clip, CC, so here is the YouTube version. (I don't hear the buzz on your clip either.)
