Another day, another chance for EJ and Odin to show us what wonderful parents they are. Surely we will have chicks this week.

Right, roosting time for me. I've leave the night shift for others more dedicated than myself, or in more favourable timezones!
EJ gives the eggs a turn occasionally, but otherwise is hunkering down against the (now thankfully slightly less violent) wind.
Fortunately the rain seems to have abated too
Thanks for starting us off, RtB, have a restful night :-)
I made a video clip of EJ having a stretch and discovered (cos I'm only seeing out of the corner of my eye) that the stream is really really jerky :-(

Hi :-)
Thanks for starting the new thread, RTB. Thanks for the vid, Scylla.
I've just conjoured up a summary of yestarday's events.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Dawn's early light at windy LG. EJ snuggled up.
Morning, Annette :-)
Morning Scylla. Seems like the wind has dropped at bit at LG (unlike LoTL)
Day cam on
Morning all. Thanks to RtB for starting us off, Scylla for the vid and all for the posts. Great job with the summary Heron.
It's still windy, but not as bad as yesterday which was horrendous! The nest looks a mess with sticks strewn about, and dear EJ is sitting on the eggs. Hatching is imminent :o)
Loch Garten stats. and All the important links for LG.
Thanks Paul for the summary. Well done despite difficult conditions.
Has camera gone AWL 'cos hatching is imminent? Gremlins, please leave well alone.
That's a nice shot of EJ, MOFFER - I've just been thru since the daycam came on looking for a nice one but she's nearly always looking to her left or over her left shoulder, and when i do find a good pose the resolution is ORFUL. The stillcam is the only way to go :-)
I just got a look at the eggs. All still whole and accounted for. We haven't miised a hatching overnight. Today is day 35 already.
Morning Moffer - and AQ! Fancy seeing you over here! Must say resolution isn't as great as it has been in the last week or so - all a bit digitized. Ej fighting with feathers again - she seems to have one stuck on her beak.
I'm going to sign off now. Take care everyone.
