Robert the Bruce SheilaFE Ah, but we mustn't forget that beautiful intruder who appeared not to upset EJ too much! That must definitely go in there! Remind me to post on the blog, asking if any of the team managed to ID it.

EJ's Biography
Thanks RtB. It was such a lovely looking bird. I hope they can ID it.
moffer Robert the Bruce Brenda H It really is such a quiet day on the nest. The summary won't consist of much. That will be an easy job for someone then. Who is it today? It won't be me, I'm out again this evening - the dreaded orchestra; still looking for a good way to get out of it! Patily has offered to write the summary today.

Sorry PATILY. I shouldn't have made such a comment.
Some egg turning and nestoration EJ style from the quiet period this afternoon.
Loch Garten stats. and All the important links for LG.
Brenda H Robert, I always understood that the females do not fish when they have eggs and are moulting, but then, when did EJ ever do what is normal

Absolutely correct, Brenda, females do not fish when on eggs or when the chicks are young. A long way to go before EJ fetches a whale from Rothiemurchus fish farm.
Hi all. Just looked in to find EJ looking very serene. Maybe she is just enjoying the peace and quiet while she can. Hopefully we may have a bobble head tonight! Happy watching everyone, fingers crossed!!
Thank you Sandy. I wonder where she got to for 2 hours this morning? She wasn't asking for food this morning either.
Here is the best view that I have had of the eggs recently.
I am recording, but I'm having half an hour away from the screen. Scream if an egg starts to hatch.....please. BBS
Hi everyone :-)
Many thanks for all the posts, pics, vids etc. Brilliant stuff. Wonder who the intruder was. I reckon a male from the pics posted and he certainly looked an impressive bird. I wonder why EJ didn't seem to stressed.
It's nice to get a full view of the egg cup on the live stream, and hopefully the pyxels will clear soon. Can't wait to see the first bobble head :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.

Not a lot happening in the evening sun. EJ is quiet one moment and another moving a twig, rearranging a piece of moss or lichen, and a little padding underneath. No sign of Odin on wide cam.
When the eggs crack, do they crack in any particular way? I mean, straight across, zig zag or any other way. Does anyone know? Could this be a crack?
Has anyone seen Odin since 3pm?
Seems to be intermitant drops of rain but it looks nice and sunny. I wonder if Odin will bring an evening fish.
