DAILY UPDATE (LG Nest) Wednesday 16th May, 2012

  • BBS I have a visitor

  • Well Done marge, with the including a post in your reply thingy.

R the B  -  can you just go and have another shower?  Lots seemed to happen when you went away for a bit!!!

I have just been stung by an ungrateful bee when trying to put it out of the window to safety.  Urgh!

  • ps:   Like your pic of Odin, too Rt B.  He was soo close to the camera for ages.

  • It's always a worry when EJ flies off with fish in beak rather than talon.  If there was an intruder osprey, would she have felt she had to warn it off vocally and thus, lose the fish?

Like the story of the fox and the grapes? Yes, I suppose it's possible. I don't know why she takes it away in her beak, it seems such a dangerous method to me.
  • She has started calling again

  • BIRDSONG, I have been noticing that EJ has been carrying the fish in her beak  frequently lately with quite big fish and have worried that she would drop it anyway.

  • Another fish from Odin

  • Well, I didn't have another shower, but I did go away for lunch. I now have something else to do though, so might not be around for much longer.

I think EJ and the chaffinch are having a competition LOL

  • Odin brings FISH!! @ 14.33

  • Fish @ 14.33

  • This time she took it away in her talons, thank goodness!

It didn't seem a particularly large one, although it was whole

  • Odin is such a star FISH!!! at 14:33

  • Still no sign of hatching when the eggs are briefly exposed. Odin is now doing his WWN

  • Well done Odin - and what a lovely voice you have
