Nora is having a struggle to turn the fish around to feed the chicks @9pm
Quite a big fish too!
Their crops look full, so she must have been feeding them for a while.
Thanks for all the pictures and comments.!! I was not home most of today so this helps me catch up on the activities on the nest

Morning all. Does anyone know if they have been fed this morning?
I have just laughed my socks off! I looked in to see Monty wobbling on the right hand end of the nest, balncing on a stick, and Nora just getting up from brooding. I don't know whether Monty had just brought the long, branched stick but it was laying across the nest cup. Nora moved it to what would be the back of the nest from our view, and the end was just if front of where Monty was standing, so he moved it back a bit. She took the other end and moved it where she wantd it again, only for Monty to move it back again. This went on for a few minutes. So amusing. Then Monty started trying to tackle a twig that was sticking in his way but the twig won and he had to move to one side. Don't know whether he stayed or flew off, as "they" zoomed in on the chicks that were wobbling around. Now Nora has resumed brooding. There is about 3/4 fish nearby.
SANDRA The blog on FB says chicks being fed as "I Write" Timed 6.45 don't know about since, but they look fine
Morning all.
Nora brooding babes, she's panting, so it must be warmer than it looks!
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Just seen the picture of Monty feeding the chicks *stunning*
A very old Shropshire Lad.
See that Norah? ( get mixed up) is brooding and has been a bit fidgity, moving sticks and moss about.

Nora brooding now, and preening. The weather is fine, but overcast. I gather they're expecting rain.
Tweet from Dyfi:
"Nora has just removed the body of the dead chick from the nest. Weather seems to be brewing up a storm, more worrying times ahead"
