Some lovely pics of Nora this evening, I think she looks rather elegant!!   The nitecam was on for the last pic.

Wonderful pics everyone, Nora is a beauty she has such a coloured bib.     I see its quite breezy down there at the moment, Nora's feathers are blowing about, its interesting that she and also Lady stay on the nest overnight with the chicks, while EJ sits close by.    Just goes to show how different personalities they all are.     Also noticable how dark it is down at Dyfi when its still showing light at LOTL and LG.... ....   its usually the last thing I do before switching the computer off, check on all three nests so noticable seeing the difference in light.

Nora and Lady only have one chick each to share their nests with - EJ has two young giants :-D Though I think Lady is known for staying on the nest much more than other females, even when she doesn't have eggs or chicks to guard. The other thing, I suppose, is that Cally and Alba are about a week older than Lady's chick, and 2 weeks older than Ceulan, and so are relatively less vulnerable when left alone.

It looks a fine, if breezy, morning down at Dyfi - hope it stays that way. Ceulan seems to be having a bit of bother with a very twiggy stick that just won't go where s/he wants it.
