Lynda. We have a beautiful country park just up the road from me. It has 3 big ponds with plenty of fish in them and a lot of surrounding forest and woods. Maybe one day! :-)

Monty has Ceulan's supper but taking the head off it first. He will most probably take it to the nest.

It was most probably the remains of that huge fish that Ceulan had earlier and Monty has had the remains.

I really hope so!

Sandra, I have to say thank you for all your brilliant captures.

Also Monty is a great dad and seems to be taking over Nora's duties and what is fascinating, we can all see how it develops and thank you Dyfi. Fantastic :)

edit I had better re-phrase, Monty is a brilliant provider and we are seeing it now how he is looking after Ceaulan and he did for three last year. wonderful

What a heavy misty start to the day Makes it look like night

Morning all, very misty this morning. Is this Monty?

Morning (yawn) patily and Sandra, yes its Monty, Ceulan was about shrieking 10 mins ago! He then flew off in frustration after picking a few scraps from the nest.

Apart from the fact that the mist has cleared the scene is still the same as before...empty nest and Monty on t-perch

Good morning all and it seems Nora may have departed on her long migration.  Safe journey to her and look forward to her return net year together with Monty.  Monty taken over and providing fish for Ceulan, what a good father he is.  Many thanks to Sandra and patily for the captures and what a misty old start to the day at Dyfi.

Just logged on to have a look around the nests.  Only one at home was Ceulan.
