It all looks and sounds very complicated, as you said a masterpiece of engineering! And visually pleasing, too!
I love your wee hamster joke, JAG, but one GIGANTIC hamster wheel, not a wee one.

Jag, yes the Museum is great too. Have also been to the Maritime Museum on the Clyde and the one at Irvine, great places. Can you guess Ships are an interest of mines also. A book I recommend is "Clyde Built", wonderful stuff, amazing!!!!

Jag is this when you are going to France??? Anyway wherever you are going have a lovely time and tell us all about it.
I have been interested in your various reports of the Olympic torch. I understand Summer Olympics are held in London this yerr. I used to watch faithfully every minute I possibly could, until (as we were discussing recently) they messed up the reporting,

Enjoy your break Mary.
AG, an amazing link, and just as brilliant as the Falkirk Wheel. Thank you.
Cirrus, It was very nasty and for no reason and I did think chick #1. and Poor chick #3 went into submission and still attacked. Without a doubt he/she was scared and maybe hurt as stayed in submission.
Thank you for clarifying it was chick #2.
I hope Odin brings plenty of food and as I said I am for once glad I will not see the next fish delivery. Will the fighting stop or continue now? I have not got a clue.
I hope LG write a new blog soon as yes it has been quiet recently but today has not been nice to see.
Hope tomorrow is ok and plenty of fish and must go to bed.
"up the wooden hill"
Mary have a good time :)
Definately going now
I'm glad I missed it B&B... but this is just the way of the world... A pecking order being established. If wee 3 survives the scrapping then he/she will be ready to face the world... head on.
Good night B&B,
I'm off up the wooden hill too. After I've gone back to the links Keith posted.
10:16 Tues pm Ohio USA; 3:16 am Wed Scotland Daylight reveals the trees in the background and it is raining. EJ lies quietly with wings outstretched, covering her three quiet youngsters. Quite a contrast to the scene yesterday afternoon.with all the agression.
