Lady and Dumpling are chatting over by her perch; wonder what they're saying. Huh. Lady now back digging about around the eggs - and is now is rearranging the furniture. Dumpling is watching and trying a bit of reorganzing too.
Well, I'm signing off now. Have a good Saturday everyone.
Dumpling looks so good....a mini adult S/he is alone on the nest standing tall in the centre and having a good preen
All quiet on the nests this morning.

If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
I think we have a little boy on this nest :-)
Good morning all and thanks to everyone for comments and captures. Dumpling looking even larger this morning.

SilverS11, your captures look a lot clearer than mine then, so well done on that.... I have to put the capture into a programme, manipulate it then put it into another one to crop it, therefore its a lot of faffing about, so its a lot easier to look at all your lovely captures especially Sandra's whose always are very clear. Must say I am dreading this chicks ringing and tagging day, as I believe from others posting that Lady gets very stressed by it, I just wish they would only ring the little chap (I think he is a he too).
PS: Just noticed Annettes posting at 4.32 am saying that Lady was still eating, hope she had a sleep in between or she will be crabbit today LOL...

Sandra I think we have a little boy on this nest :-)
Funnily enough, I was thinking the same thing last night, Sandra. The white chest is indicative and, despite being stuffed full of fish, he appears to still be quite small, compared to his parents.
What a coincidence I was just coming to say how noticeable Dumpling's white chest is !!!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure if this has been mentioned but I was just reading the LotL blog for the 28th June and in reply to a "where do the ospreys go when they leave scotland" it was intimated that they will be putting a transmitter on this wee fellow.
Just been watching him / her moving about the nest proper little osprey :-)
did wonder where the chick was as it was stood at the rear of the nest where Lady always keeps guard.
A very old Shropshire Lad.
Hi all. A few pics of little one and Lady looks as if she has been for a swim,
Hi Chris, I read their blog saying they might tag early July, which is tomorrow. I hope Lady will be ok with them climbing to the nest, I feel she will be stressed out!!! :-(
Those are some great pix Sandra - thanks.
Hi to everyone else. Back this evening.

Thanks for all your updates and wonderful pictures.
Alan , that last one of the little one is just a superb capture.
Did wonder myself whether it was a boy as it doesn't seem to be growing as big as our two.

Some lovely photos here today. MAry - I don't know how Sandra manages to get such clear photos either. I use 'paint' to crop and save my pictures but Sandra's are always that much clearer. She's probably got a better graphics card in her computer!
I originally thought that Dumpling was a girl, but I am now inclined to think that he is a He!
I wish they weren't tagging him though, just ringing. I had no idea, until I saw the Loch Garten chicks, how long the aerials are
