Welcome to another day in the wonderful world of the Loch Garten Ospreys. Starring Odin The Magnificant, EJ The Phenomenal, and their three chicks, Courage, Wisodom, and Bravery. Here's hoping for plenty of fish being brought to the nest :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
EJ's just flown off for a quick break, and then flown back again. She's been very alert looking since I've been watching (just before midnight).
Hi Paul I just checked the CAM and EJ does look very alert. She doesn't appear to be getting much sleep to prepare for her busy day ahead.
What will today bring ?
Off to check yesterday's DU. I missed nearly all of the activities because I was not home

Hi Barbara :-) I'm not sure EJ's had any sleep tonight. I wonder what's been keeping her so alert, but she does look quite sleepy now.
Is Rothiemurchus spending another night in a near-by tree :)
Must be safe around the nest because EJ's sleeping now. Amazing to think that one of nature's most deadly predators can look so sweet but EJ manages with ease :-)
Now EJ's awake. I know exactly what she's going through. There's those nights when you just can't get a decent sleep because there's so much going through the mind.
Chicks making a noise. Perhaps Curry, and Wizzy are trying to have more sparring practice.
EJ looks like she's having a decent nooze now :-)
With EJ and the chicks sleeping peacefully, I think I'll head off to roost myself soon.
Happy watching everyone :-)
Paul.
Good night Paul ! sweet dreams of whale size fish for EJ and the chicks :)
One of the older chicks has wiggled out from underneath EJ to take a look around, now tucking back underneath. And now the other one. :)

They look like one enormous dark squirming lump EJ is sitting on - no wonder she can't get any rest. The chicks have begun doing the lateral wing/leg stretch now. It is getting light at Loch Garten.
One bum backs out enough to fire a rocket, and tucks back in.
Hi CC---It is starting to get light
