That is a very good point Barbara. It is all to do with what triggers migration. Some people think that it is the heigh of the sun in the sky. Analysis has been done on this sort of thing but I do not think anyone knows. If watching ospreys has taught me anything then it is "ospreys know best".

A part of me does not want EJ to arrive today because I cannot be around to see it.

Well you haven't missed anything up to now Tiger. No sign of EJ so far.

5:07 UK Time. I just checked the LG nest. No EJ .

However,   she certainly has her work cut out for  her when she  returns . The nest  is a mess!!

But there is some fresh moss stuff put out for her Barbara Jean. The sides of the nest certainly need building up.

Yes we do Tiger,  Have to say I had my doubts last year. Whte TF was very persistent. But EJs back first and looking like she's well fit for any young rogues advances toward HER nest
