Ok It Is Time For Guessing The Fledging Times of The Loch Garten Chicks

I know you all like to take a guess at when events will happen and the first fledging at Loch Garten is now very near.

Caledonia is 48 days tomorrow which coincides with the earliest age at which a chick has fledged in the UK.

Here is a chart of the more recent history of fledgings at Loch Garten. Here was a fledging blog discussion from 2008

So what is your prediction of fledging times for Caledonia and Alba

Give a date and a time.

Caledonia on 4/7/2012 about 10AM.

Alba 6/7/2012 about 12PM.

Caledonia 7/7/12 at around 2pm

Alba 9/7 at around 12pm.

My guess is Caledonia 4th July 2-15pm

                 Alba         6th July 11-30am

Lowry snap almost the same again::)

Cally - Friday 6th at 9am = 51 days

Alba - Friday 6th at 3.30pm = 49 days

My prediction is for Caledonia to Fledge on 9th July @ 0808 hours

 and for Alba to Fledge on 11th July @ 1711 hrs  LOL....

Cally-Thursday 5th 11AM =50 Days

Alba- Saturday 7th  10.30=50 Days

They haven't done much wingercising yet so I don't think they'll go soon, unless they are caught by a gust of wind. Was it 2010 that chick 1 took a very early flight and was then intercepted by intruders? I'll go for Caledonia to take to the skies on 10th July at around 2.30. Alba will follow her on the 12th at about 11.00

Here are my predicions

Caledonia to fledge on Saturday  7th July at 9.15 am

Alba  to fledge at 2.25 pm on Sunday 8th July  at 2.25 pm

I predict them both fledging on Monday, 9th July.

Caledonia first at 10.30am (54 days), followed by Alba at 3.15pm (52 days)

My first guess been and gone.

Well Lowry have another guess, its not too late is it LOL...
