Well EJ came back today so it seems that she has elected to stay just a little bit longer. Also we had the very exciting report of her catching a fish this morning.
Well Caledonia reaches 91 days today which is longer than any first hatched chick has dallied in the last nine years.
Unfotunately the webcam has gone down and so events can only be followed by still cam just now.
I wonder what the day will bring?

All is quiet
Learning more every day about the bird heaven I live in.
It's quiet... too quiet - as they used to say in the cowboy films of my youth ;-)
I've re-set-up my screen recorder on the Carnyx stream instead of RSPB, as that seems to come to life more readily after downtime than the RSPB stream does, but for insurance have the browser on 10-minute auto-refresh. Nothing more to be done.
Oh dear, look what's happened, the best-laid plans of mice and men :-(

One of the birds is around.
Someone is on the nest
Morning Moffer: But who is it? I'm off to bed. Hope they get the cam fixed today.
Morning Annette. I think it's Alba, but she is staying on the rim of the nest out of sight of the other cam, so I can't be sure.
I too hope the live cam comes back on.
Both girls now.
Alba (I think) home alaone
Alba? on the nest
Cally? in the tree
View of the nest. You would never know from this shot that Alba was on the rim.
Both girls in the cam tree now.
Good morning MOFFER! I wonder whether we will get a live cam again before our family leaves for warmer climes. I do hope they can get it sorted.
After my first coffee of the day I was delighted to find Cally and Alba on the nest, but ten minutes later Cally had left. There is one juv on the tree cam at the moment. Edit: having seen your more defined pic above I can see that there are two birds on the tree now! Thank you!!!
I have completed yesterday's Summary.
