Wow, you said it SHEILA - a Stellar Document indeed. I'm in awe. Thank you so much JSB (and CHLOE)
Latest 18th Aug.....Caledonia is spreading her wings, will she be the first to leave LG?
Alba and Caledonia, awaiting confirmation via GE of their migration routes.
Alan: Thanks, your post alerted me to check Richard's new blog. The first report shows both Alba and Caledonia in North of England, but GE update awaited.
Beatrice is nearing her usual winter quarters.
Caledonia over the English Channel and Alba over Wales.
Correction re Alba's time. I think it was the 23rd that was meant?
Yes I thought that JSB. They can't predict where she will be at 9pm today, lol. It could also have been 9am today?
Now with the help of GE better latest positions for Alba and Caledonia.
Beatrice was at wintering site, now ranging NNE. Rothiemurchus has made his move south.
Thanks a million for all the updates and spreadsheet updates :-) I've got Google Earth but it can be a bit heavy on this laptop sometimes. Hopefully the Ospreys keep making good progress :-)
Thanks for all the updates everyone and jsb for his spreadsheet.
Alba has overtaken Caledonia, but the final points are dated 27th and 26th respectively, at Galicia Spain and Les Landes, France. I was only 15km from Solferino (Caledonia) last month at a place called Labouheyre. It looks as if Caledonia's fix is in flight, as it is on top of a road.
Fearna has not started migrating, but we should be hearing some news soon.
I just read on the Rutland thread, thanks to SheilaFE for the info, that the tagging did not take place, that we were wondering about. Also fishing comment at Bassenthwaite.
