Thank you all for your lovely comments... It was an experience I am unlikely to forget..
tintin thanks for your report and so glad you enjoyed your week as a vounteer. That brought back so many happy memories for me as I was a volunteer last yearl. Loch Garten is a magical place and I am sure it will stay in your memory for ever. I would love to do it again but am getting a bit long in the tooth now and found the weather a bit trying as it was very wet for most of the time. For all that it was well worth it I smiled about your comment about the toilet being quite a long walk away, I managed to avoid going on my first night shift but on the second one I had to to make a trip at 3.00 in the morning. Couldn't believe how light it was and also how quiet. The only thing I saw was a red squirrel as I walked along.
moffer see you have applied for next year, will keep my fingers crossed for you. patily do apply you will so enjoy it. June is a good time as all the family will be there.l

TINTIN that was a wonderful report on your time at LG, so descriptive I could imagine being there. I love the idea of a night walk with just a torch, scary lol.
MOFFER will keep my fingers crossed :-) You would be an asset to the centre and it would be a much deserved experience for you, after all your hard work on the DU x
Thanks for your lovely account of your experience. It was an absolute pleasure to have you both here, asyour enthusiasm and excitement was clear from the start and all the way through the week. Take care, and I hope you come back next year, preferably when there are ospreys to watch...
