Thought I'd pull this one back up the list as I'm not sure what happens to the threads when they fall off the bottom of the group page...

Emma - they just go on to page 2, and can always be retrieved! It's better to set up this view of the Forum as your Bookmark/Favorite as it shows the paging:

Good afternoon Alan and thanks for those links. What really pleases me is to see children becoming involved and learning about the magical birds. Sounds as though the get together is going to be fun too. I am waiting for the book to be published so I can get a copy. Lady has certainly become famous although it was for the wrong reason. Often wonder whether she had a safe migration but only time will tell us that.

And the meet itself. See swt bloggers meet up.
Thought I would bring this to the top again, what made me do it is I ordered the book which is full of bloggers poems through all the trials and tribulations at Loch of the Lowes this year. It will be a really nice keepsake and all profits are going to LOtL.

Hi Margobird: Is this another book? By Helen Armitige.....see Scotsman today. The one you mention is intended to raise funds for the satellite-tagging project, as far as I understand. That's right isn't it?

Also, I just wanted to say I have been thinking of you and others who have been having a difficult time recently.
Happy New Year to LG Bloggers and LoTL followers as well.

Good morning jsb and sorry for my late response to your post. Have not switched on for a couple of days. Thankyou for your kind thoughts about mysister.
The Helen Armitage book is another story about Lady and thanks for highlighting it, will be getting thisone too. The other book is the one that is raisng money for Loch of the Lowes, but It is lovely to pick up and read. Lady and the Loch of the Lowes inspired such poetry from the LOtL bloggers. As I have not caught up with all the posts yet I apologise if am repeating what someone else has already said.
Happy New Year to you.
Happy New year jsb and Margo I have that book on order.
As one of my Christmas presents from my daughter, she has adopted an osprey for me at Loch of the Lowes. I am thrilled.
Brenda H what a wonderful Christmas present now wonder you are thrilled. Have tthink about that one for next Christmas present list.
Oh woe thrice woe
The SWT in their wisdom have decided not to let members and others respond to blogs, thay have turned off the comment facility.... What a retrograde step after all the wonderful poems and pictures that Shirley Davies compiled into a book. The purchas of which must have swelled their coffers.
The ciaim is that moderating the comments took up too much time.. Birdwatchers aren't very likely to post anything derogatory, blasphemus or pornographic are they?

This thread is going to be very important , now then, isn't it. Sigh
Old images are better than none!
Tiger's index threads
Big sighs from me too Cirrus, such a shame for people who can't watch during our day.
We have two LOTL threads running now. Perhaps best to stick to the 2011 one or it might get confusing.
