Still 2 on the nest being buffeted by the wind. No idea which two or which is eating!
Great capture Cirrus. I think that shows quite conclusively that it is chick #3 with the fish.
The thing about chick #2 is that it has quite a lot of white on it's head.

Also see Heron77's capture at 6.39 yesterday. A very similar situation but with Chick#2 with the fish. See http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/groups/lochgartenospreys/forum/t/21892.aspx

Yes indeed Tiger. although when the sunshine obscures the Osprey's head it makes Middle juve look darker than she is.

Yes I have discovered this. You need to look at things with a different frame of mind when there is harsh early morning backlightng.
I am hoping you don't mind Tiger - but I've taken the liberty of using those beatuiful sunrise images of yours and i am having Snapfish put them on a mug for me. Can't wait for it to arrrive. The images look like paintings. So lovely.

Cirrus. Oh course I do not mind. I love the idea of you drinking your tea out of a mug like that. I waited until I got the right moment before pushing the button on that one.
Your patience certainly paid off ! :)
Oh LoL , if anyone wanted any more proof - Youngest is talking to his fish :)
BTW has anyone noticed if chick #3 still has a white tail? I have not managed to spot it recently.
Morning Everyone.
Morning all, thanks for the nest reports and pics. Middle returned with a quack as I logged on!
