"Then at 04.50 a large bird caught my eye, to my delight it was an adult Osprey clearing fishing at mid-reservoir, then whilst viewing through the 'scope another joined it. They remained in view until 05.15 by which time breakfast was caught by both birds and they drifted off towards East Grinstead being lost to view in the trees. At one point they were mobbed by a pair of Common Terns which they just plainly ignored."

We had a Hen Harrier fly over our house Saturday morning and Saturday evening and it was mobbed by the house martens, swifts and swallows. It appeared to be trying to catch sparrows as it was low when I first saw it.
